this Christmas season, just seemed to have flown by. i cant beleive that in 5 days christmas will already be here! i am really excited for this. i am exicted to give the gifts i am making for my in laws. its the first sewing project that i feel 100 percent proud about. that i wanna show off.
i have so many more sewing projects for around the house come the new year. i wanna make curtains, make pretty backdrops for my walls, a bsb blank with all my bsb shirts and some pictures from the concert, i am also making a blanket with all the scraps from fabric i used before.
so this winter shall be a fun winter. and for the fact that we haven't had a snow storm at all- means that January and feb can be pretty hard. i am thinking about painting the rooms- and rearranging things once they are all done.. i wanna get the apartment into order. i want it to be nice. its nice now- but its just not how i want it to be. ill post pictures after Christmas for they are Christmas presents.
So what is the meaning of christmas to you? this has been on my heart for a few days.
christmas time you seem to get so lost in the worldly and commercialized meaning- who has the hottest updated toys. who can get the biggest presents. we forget that the reason we are able to celbrate christmas is because of the birth of our savior. the savior that died for our sins. so this christmas i am really trying to focus on that. focus that its not about the presents. its about family and our savior. not about the tree and the presents, and santa clause... its about JESUS! who had nothing.. he was born in a MANGER.
