christmas traditions.

Last night ben and i went christmas shopping! we went for mainly us considering i dont drive. it makes it quite intresting. =] i am really exicted to give him the gifts. i will be def taking pictures of all the presents that i have. but i cant post them here just incase. =] and we got mateo the tag junior.. its a thing that reads the kids the story word by word or it has them reading the whole story. my cousins have it, and when we watched them for that week in oct. he fell in love with it. so we said we are gonna def be getting that for christmas for him! =]

What are some of your christmas traditions?? i been thinking alot about ours and how we have created some of our own since we got married. here a list of our traditions for christmas.

1. We always decorate for christmas the day after Thanksgiving. for me that is when and always been when the holiday season starts for me.

2. Christmas Eve we go to his grandmothers house and we see that side of the family, and we open some presents. and we have a dinner. [i used to go to my aunts house for christmas eve but they dont exchange presents there, and ben's grandmother really likes when we are there... ] and i see pretty much everyone esle the next day.

3. Three days prior to christmas we watch the santa clause movies. on christmas night we always end up watching santa clause three. and we started a new one where like the fourth day proir we watch a christmas carol. just to remind ourself to not be self observed.

4. this christmas starts a new tradtion for me. this christmas i plan on attending the christmas eve service at my church. i have been attending it for a few months now, and i absolutly love it. =] it is absoutly amazing church. and i plan on attend each year.

5. Christmas day is always busy... cause we have our christmas, than we go to his moms house, than we go to my moms house, than we go to my grandmothers house. so it all is very crazy. but fun. this year we are gonna go over to mateus house and watch him open presents from what santa got him. and i think this will be a tradition long to come. =] and to give him our present of course. =]

i will def. have some christmas pictures up. once everything is done. i hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! and a happy NEW YEAR! i cant beleive that 2011 is almost here! =] i hope 2011 is the year all my dreams come true. i know one of my biggest dreams is already coming true!!!!! june 4th,2011!!!!!
